Today, Kobe Bryant will be back in a Lakers Uniform for the first time since injuring his achilles last season. Kobe has been the talk of the sneaker world lately, recently unveiling the Kobe 9 Elite and the Prelude Pack. Kicksoftheday chose their favorite shoe from each Kobe model. Have another favorite? Let us know in the comment section.
Kobe 1 “Prelude”- While this is the newest Kobe 1, it is by far the best colorway available. A mostly black upper combined with the special print on the heel and the swoosh make this one of the best Nike retros of all time.
Kobe 2 Black/Del Sol- While the Kobe 2 is not one of the most celebrated of the Kobe models, this clean colorway matched extremely well with the Lakers uniforms and definitely made this a memorable shoe.
Kobe 3 “All Star”- This shoe probably reminds you of an “Iron Man” colorway, but this the Kobe 3 “All Star” was meant to match the West’s all star uniforms.
Kobe 4 “Bred”- The “Bred” colorway is probably the most famous Air Jordan colorway, but the black/red color scheme looked amazing on a Kobe silhouette.
Kobe V “All Star”- With a mostly Bright Crimson upper, this shoe definitely catches the eye. Rocked by Kobe during the 2010 All Star Game, this is one of the best colorways in Kobe history.
Kobe 6 “Orange County”- As one of four shoes that were a part of the 2011 LA All Star Pack, this colorway pays homage to Los Angeles. The shoes have a fitting name due to the fact that the sport a mostly orange upper.
Kobe 7 “Galaxy”- Continuing with the All Star favorites, the Kobe 7 featured an amazing Galaxy print on the upper. This eye catching shoe looks as though someone dropped a piece of space on to the Kobe 7.
Kobe 8 “Christmas”- The Kobe 8 continued the trends set by both the 6 and 7 with eye popping colorways. The Christmas version of the Kobe 8 had a snake print with Christmas oriented colors, included both bright crimson and a bright green, but still managed to make the shoe have a Christmas feel to it.
